Elizabeth is an established jeweller who has been practicing for over 15 years. After graduating from her first degree she was apprenticed to Wendy Ramshaw and, over the subsequent 10 years, she worked closely with her as her principal workshop assistant. Elizabeth considers this unique experience to be fundamentally important to her own development in the field. She established her own studio in 1991, which is now based in the thriving creative quarter of East London.

Elizabeth has exhibited work on an international basis. She is on the Crafts Council's Index of Selected Makers. Her work is featured in a wide range of publications and private collections.

"Bone's work is epitomized by caring craftsmanship and subdued elegance. Scale, unforced geometry, classic techniques and sensitive surfaces project a cool modesty... the metal itself, gently encouraged to speak of its own soft beauty, becomes a receptacle for the wearer, and so awaits the warmth of ownership".

David Watkins (1999) Design Sourcebook: Jewellery, New Holland Publishers, London.
